Jeep

Our “Jeep” was built from a John Deere CX Gator. We were looking for a mode of transportation that was different from the standard golf carts and UTV’s we saw at tractor shows. Having owned several Jeep Wranglers gave us inspiration. The first order of business after removing the dump bed and building a frame for the back half of the Jeep was to figure out a way to access the engine and transmission for service. A removable panel on the floor behind the seats was built. Metal work continued with side panels, rear door, hood, windshield, roll bars and tube bumpers. OEM Jeep hinges and hood hold downs made it come to life. Gecko green, an original Jeep paint color from 2012-13 was chosen with black seat covers, carpeting and fabricated roll bar covers finishing the build.
